About This Award Winning Author

Silvia Davis has been a member of the Church of Christ for thirty-two years. She is a devoted wife to her husband, John, and is a mother of two.  Silvia's primary goal in life is to motivate and encourage others. Through motivational speaking and the utilization of social media, she has helped hundreds prioritize the value of self-worth and self-care both spiritually and physically. She currently lives in Arizona.

FAITH

The best advice that can ever be given to any Christian is to put God first. Christ summed it up best in Matthew 22:37-38 when He said to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. My life changed when I made that decision. That decision is what called me to become a Christian author!

COMMUNITY

A part of being a Christian is working to serve others. My favorite way to do that is by using words and humor to inspire. I realized this while helping women develop a more positive mindset about their value and body. So be sure, male or female, to visit my blog for uplifting messages and videos!

MY PASSION

My passion is public speaking. Feeling the energy in the room, uplifting an audience, hearing the laughter; for me, there is no greater feeling. My siblings and I joked about writing about growing up Crawford, but I don't know if any of us ever thought it would ever actually happen. As an adult I would often draw on lessons learned from my childhood, so when thinking of how to write about those stories it made sense to include the lessons I learned from them!
